Mon Repos Turtle Encounter

Mon Repos is special! It supports the largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the eastern Australian mainland and has the most significant loggerhead turtle nesting population in the South Pacific region.


At this globally-significant site you can learn all about these extraordinary animals and the conservation and research programs that are protecting them at the turtle centre, and have an amazing turtle encounter.

Bundaberg Barrel Tour

The Tasting Bar offers product tastings of entire range of Bundaberg Brewed Drinks. With 14 delicious flavours to try, including the famous Bundaberg Ginger Beer, you’re bound to find a new favourite or enjoy an old classic. Hinkler Hall of Aviation

The Hinkler Hall of Aviation celebrates the adventures and achievements of Australia’s pioneer solo aviator Bert Hinkler. Become part of the story through glide and flight simulators, movie theatrettes, six display aircraft and a vintage motor vehicle, and the many unique museum exhibits and interactive displays right at your fingertips.

Australian Sugar Cane Railway

It is a working museum which is dedicated to operating, restoring, and showcasing the history of sugar cane railways in the Bundaberg region.


The journey takes you across several bridges, past several ponds, through the heart of Bundaberg's locomotive workshop and past other attractions such as Café 1928, Hinkler house, the Hinkler hall of aviation, Fairymead house as well as the Chinese gardens.

Alexandra Park Zoo

Nestled on the banks of the Burnett River on Quay Street, Alexandra Park offers a playground for all ages under the shade of large Fig Trees. The kids can play on the playground or run in the large open spaces. The Rotunda gives the park an old-time feel.  Alexandra Park is also home to our region’s Council operated zoo. The zoo was established in 1911 and is one of Queensland’s oldest continuously running zoological facilities.

Today, the zoo is home to a compact menagerie featuring exhibits with pint-size monkeys, dingoes, lizards, snakes, birds and more!

Bundy Belle-Burnett River Cruise
